Many glass bottles and jars were actually found buried in the sand and stones at Noyac Bay, Long Island in 2011. After a storm passed through the sand was shifted and a bottle rim showed through the sand, assuming it was just a piece of beach glass I tried to pick it up to discover it was a full jar, before I knew it I had a trove of 14 bottles, 3 cups a butter knife.
